Jaipur - City palace

There are many palaces in India, too. In the City palace in Jaipur there is a museum, but the family of the past kings still live there. There are around 500 people who serve the family. You can see some of them in front of the building, wearing beautiful uniforms. If you are lucky, you can even watch how they turn their scarves around their head. There is also a clock tower in the City palace. The Peacock gate is a big doorway. It is decorated similar to a peacock tail.  It represents autumn. You have to buy a ticket to visit the place.
