Instructions:
- Choose an Object:
- Select one item from your kitchen (e.g., a cup, jar, plastic container, fork, or a table).
- Predict the Future:
- Imagine three possible futures for the object.
- For example:
- It ends up in a landfill.
- It is recycled into a new item.
- It is repurposed or reused creatively.
- For example:
- Describe each outcome in detail, including:
- What happens to the object (e.g., decomposition, recycling, reuse)?
- How long will it last in this state?
- What impact will it have on the environment?
- Imagine three possible futures for the object.
- Evaluate and Compare:
- Compare the three futures based on:
- Environmental impact.
- Usability and functionality.
- Effort and cost involved.
- Decide which outcome is the best and explain why.
- Compare the three futures based on:
- Propose Transformations:
- Imagine three creative ways to reuse, repurpose, or upcycle the object.
- Example: A jar could become a pencil holder, a terrarium, or a storage container.
- For each idea, include:
- A description of the transformation.
- How it benefits the environment or adds value.
- A simple plan or sketch showing the steps to create it.
- Imagine three creative ways to reuse, repurpose, or upcycle the object.
