9.9.5 Fire Rules

Keeping the Fire in Control

Choose a Safe Spot: Clear the area of dry leaves, grass, or anything flammable. Build a fire ring with rocks or dig a shallow pit.

Stay Nearby: Never leave a fire unattended. Always have water or sand nearby to put out the fire if needed.

Prevent Sparks: Don’t build fires in windy conditions. Cover the fire with a screen or a layer of damp leaves if sparks fly.
