In schools, the focus is on English, Maths and Science. Are they the only things that are important? Why not music, arts or moral studies? Simple: schools focus on knowledge, not on skills. Exams measure knowledge, not skills. However, when it comes to success, life measures only skills.

They might not be so knowledgeable, but they are definitely able to acquire knowledge when they need it. They understand that knowledge is not more than transferring information through rote memorisation, and skills start when theory is put into practice.
