Gaz Oakley

Gaz learnt to cook from his father when he was a child. For several years, he worked in hotel and restaurant kitchens in Cardiff, UK. He then switched careers to work as a sales manager. After hearing a radio interview with a vegan musician, Oakley switched to a vegan lifestyle. He also encouraged his friends and family members to become vegan. He decided to use his skills to promote veganism. He launched The Avant-Garde Vegan YouTube channel, which has more than 1.1 million subscribers. He also wrote several vegan cookbooks. He is only 29 years old.
