P1.10.3 Conservation and Restoration
- But life has its twists and turns. The couple moved to a tiny apartment (something about rent being more expensive than a pizza). I got donated to a community library. At first, I was heartbroken. No more chats or Netflix movies. But hey, libraries are cool! I held up books, and even got to hear a toddler read ‘Cat in the Hat’ for the first time. I was so proud of myself.

 

  • What’s the last item you threw away that could have been donated instead? (Example: Clothes, toys, or electronics.)
  • When was the last time you donated something? What was it, and who did it help?
  • Do you know of places near you where you can donate items like clothes, books, or furniture?
  • What items in your home are not being used but are in good condition? Could you donate them?
