P1.7.2 Lost on an Island
Day 1: The Crash and the First Exploration
We’re alive. That’s the most important thing. The plane went down during a storm, and we crash-landed on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

The good news: we survived. The bad news: this place is completely isolated. No phone signals, no GPS, nothing. We’re on our own.

But we’re not giving up. While searching through the wreckage, we found a few notebooks and pencils. Perfect for drawing maps! I’ve decided to start mapping the island. If we understand the land, we can find food, water, and maybe even signal for rescue someday.

Today, we scouted the coastline near the wreckage. I sketched a rough map, marking a massive rock shaped like a bird, a river flowing inland, and a dense forest. These will be the foundation of our first map: the physical map.

It’s not perfect, but it’s a start. Tomorrow, we will venture further inland and add more details to the map.
