6.7.14 The Wanderings of the Furry Flibbles
Back in the bare forest, the Flibbles got to work. They planted seeds from the grasslands, transplanted cacti and ferns from the desert and wetlands, and even harvested saplings down from the mountains. Slowly, the forest began to grow back, but it wasn’t the same as before.
It was better.
Birds returned to nest in the trees. Streams began to flow again. The Flibbles rebuilt their homes and celebrated their new forest, a mix of habitats they had visited. “We learned from the world,” said Elder Wibble, “and now we’ve made a home for everyone.”
