6.7.14 The Wanderings of the Furry Flibbles
Next, the Flibbles arrived in a desert. The soft sand tickled their paws, and the vast dunes were fun to slide down. But food and water were scarce. The Flibbles grew weak from the heat and thirst. “Why do the plants here bite?” cried Tibbles, the tribe’s chef, after brushing against a prickly pear cactus. It wasn’t long before they realized the desert was too harsh for their delicate lifestyle.
Lesson from the Desert: Some habitats require adaptations the Flibbles just didn’t have.
