To ask others if they would like to have something
My friend was going on holiday. I offered to take him to the airport. Halfway my car ran down. It just stopped working. I was thinking hard, what to do. I opened the front part of the car, but couldn’t find what the issue was. My friend went crazy, he thought he would miss his plane. There were some cars on the road, but they all came from the airport, not towards. Suddenly we heard a funny noise from the air. We both looked up. It was a hot air balloon, coming down onto the road! The guy just landed in front of our car. He jumped out, and said, “Do you have some gas by any chance? I have to go to the airport, but I ran out of gas”. Luckily I run my car on gas, so I offered some. We also told our story, that my friend wanted to go to the airport but our car got broken. He offered to take my friend there. My friend was really lucky. Travelling by a hot air balloon is much more exciting than by my old car. |
