4.7.9 My Little Sister
At dinner I said that I was waiting for my payment to buy a new mobile. I broke the old one.
“Why don’t you go to the bank to get some money?”
“Because I have no money in the bank now.”
“It is not possible. Banks always have money.”
“Yes, but I have to give money to the bank, otherwise I cannot take it out.”
“You know what? You should not keep your money in the bank then.”
“My company sends my payment to the bank, darling.”
“Sad. But you have a bank card, why don’t you use it?”
“There is no money on my bank card right now.”
“Let me see.”
My sister turned the card around and said, “Yeah, there is no money in this card.”

- Do they pay with a bank card when they go shopping?
- What are better, easier to use, coins, bank notes or bank cards? Why?
- Can you see whether a bank card has money on it?
