Steal [stole, stolen]

Taking something  from people without their knowledge.

Last night a guy climbed into my bedroom. He wanted to steal my wallet but I woke up. I was not afraid of him, he was asmall man. I asked him, “what are you doing in my bedroom? Are you stealing my money?” He said he was cold in the street so he came to my room to warm up. “Then why is my wallet in your hands?”, I asked him. “Because your wallet is nice and warm”, he said. “By the way, how much money do you have in your wallet? I need money.”

“You should not steal money from others. Do you often steal things?”

“Yes. I steal apples in the market, books from the bookstores, clothes from houses. I steal everything that I need.”

“If you need money, you should work.”

“Nobody wants to give me work, so I have to steal.”

“I will give you money if you clean my garden tomorrow”.

“Oh. If you give me work, I won’t steal.”
