4.6.16 Self

I am a 38-year-old teacher. I have two kids, they go to secondary school. My husband is a scientist. My friend asked me the other day:

"I know you go out to work. Who runs the house? Your mother? Or a maid?"

I smiled. No, I don't have my mother around me. I don't need a maid. Nobody runs the house.

  • Who makes breakfast? My kids make their breakfast themselves.
  • Who washes your husband's socks? My husband washes them himself.
  • Who cleans the kitchen? I clean the kitchen myself.
  • Who irons your daughter's skirts? She irons her skirts herself.
  • Who cooks dinner? We cook our dinner ourselves.
