The king lived in a small palace with his wife and son. They were sitting under an umbrella. The king asked John about his business. John said that he wanted to treat the ill monkeys.

The king didn’t like the idea. “Many years ago a white man came here. I was kind to him, but he got our gold, and killed all the elephants to get their tusks, then he went away.’

Then the king turned to some black people who were standing nearby, ‘ Take this white man with his animals and lock them up, all.’
