‘I have such a common name’, cried Tim. ‘I want to be called Tiger. Tiger is a rare name, not like Tim. There are five boys in our class with this name.’

His friends didn’t understand the new name. Sometimes they called him Jigger, or Digger.

One day a new boy came to their class. His name was Timmy. ‘My name is simple and common, not an animal name, but it is okay,’ he said.

There are common animals like flies or butterflies. We can see them every day. They are everywhere. But can you see a fox around your house? My friend says he saw a fox once. They live around, but they are not common animals.
