• As a park ranger in Malaysia, I often see wild animals in the jungle, but not usually around my house. My job is to protect the national parks, so I see wildlife during my work, every time.

Do you like wild animals? Why? Why not?

• I love wild animals, that’s why I always wanted to be a ranger. I grew up in a nearby village and made friends with monkeys in the forest. Without animals the jungle would not be what it is. Trees and plants also need animals. As a park ranger, I work hard to protect the jungle.

Are you scared of animals?

• I'm not scared of wild animals, but I'm careful around them. I know how to stay safe. Still, I'm always watching out, especially with big or aggressive animals, like elephants. They look so peaceful, but believe me, the wild elephants can be quite aggressive.
