Do you see wild animals around your house?

• Yes, I often see wild animals around my house. Our house is close to a river and big and small animals go there to drink. Sometimes the big animals like lions or other big cats have their lunch at the river. They hunt for antelopes.

Do you like wild animals? Why? Why not?

• Of course, I love wild animals, especially on my plate, fried or cooked. As for live animals, I don’t care. I hunt them, kill them and sell them in the market. It is illegal in my country, but we need to survive first. If I don’t hunt, my family goes to sleep with an empty stomach.

Are you scared of animals?

• Everybody is scared around wild animals, especially when hunting. However, with more knowledge, I am really careful around them. You have to understand them if you want to be safe. You need knowledge about them. For example when the lions are full (they had a good lunch), they won’t hurt you. You see whether their stomach is empty or full. The other thing is that lions sleep when they are not hungry and look around, run around when they are.
