It goes this way:

Once a king and queen had a baby girl named Aurora. They were very happy and threw a big party to celebrate her birth. They invited all the relatives, but forgot about the sister of the queen’s grandmother. She was very angry and came to the party anyway. She cursed the baby princess, saying that on her sixteenth birthday, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep for 100 years unless a prince kissed her and woke her up.

The king and queen were very worried, so they ordered all the spinning wheels in the kingdom to be burnt.

Aurora grew up to be a beautiful and kind girl. On her sixteenth birthday, she found an old spinning wheel in a hidden room of the castle. She touched it and immediately fell into a deep sleep.

Everyone in the castle also fell asleep, and a thick forest grew around the castle, hiding it from view.

Years passed, and one day, a brave prince heard about the sleeping princess and decided to find her. He fought through the forest and found the castle. He saw Aurora lying in a bed, fast asleep. He kissed her gently, and she woke up.

The prince and Aurora fell in love and soon got married. The entire castle woke up and celebrated their wedding. They lived happily ever after.
