Doctors treat ill people in hospitals. They give care to those who need help.

A child arrives at the hospital. A doctor sees the child. She asks him what the problem is, then examines the child’s body and takes his temperature. He has a high temperature, headache, and runny nose. He has the flu.The doctor gives him pills. She treats him.

You don’t have to be a doctor to treat someone! Evelyn treats her dog well. She gives him food and water, takes him for walks every day, and plays with him on weekends.
