3.2.4 City and Village

City and village

This is my village. It is called Litvill. There are only ten houses and two shops here. The shops sell only food. We also have a school. There are only 18 children in the village. I walk to school every day. I go to the end of the street and turn left. The building of the school is bigger than our house.

Towns are bigger than villages. Cities are bigger than towns.

My grandparents live in a city. The city is bigger than our village. We go to the city by car but yesterday I went by bus. The bus station was dirty. I went to my granny’s house. I walked to the end of the street and turned right. The street was also dirty. There were a lot of people in the street. They were also dirty. I opened the door. My granny was also dirty.

I asked my grandmother, "Why is everything dirty in your city?"

She said, "Darling, nothing is dirty in our city. Only your glasses are dirty."
