Lily has a daily routine that she does every day. First, she wakes up at 7 a.m. and washes her face in cold water. Then, she gets dressed and eats breakfast with her family.  After breakfast she goes to school at 7:45.

One evening her little brother dropped her clock, it didn’t work. “Sorry”, he said, but Lily said, “never

mind”. Next morning there was no clock, and Lily woke up at 7:30. She ran to wash her face but she opened the hot water and her skin got red. She couldn't open her eyes. She ran to get dressed but she didn’t see her clothes and she put on her little brother’s dirty jumper.  Her family laughed at her when she went to have breakfast. She had to go back to her room and change her clothes. She found her clothes, but she put on her jumper inside out! Her mother told her, “Darling, please change your jumper”. But Lily didn’t find her uniform. Her mother helped her get dressed.

Next, at breakfast, Lily put sugar on her toast and salt into her tea. She could not eat her breakfast.

It was 8:30 when she took her school bag and ran to school. But there was a problem. The bag was not hers. It was her little brother’s bag. She opened the bag in her class and took out five toy bears. She could not help, she laughed. She loves her little brother.
