9.1.12 SDG 6
πŸ’§πŸŒ If everyone in the world had clean water and good bathrooms, kids would stay healthier, miss less school, and life would be easier for families. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦βœ¨ Plus, plants and animals would also be happier because the water in rivers and oceans would stay clean. 🌱🐟

❓ Do we have enough clean water everywhere in the world? πŸ€”

NO Around the world, many people still struggle to get clean water and proper ways to cook.

Over 2 billion people (18% of all the people) don’t have access to clean water, and 395 thousand children under five die every year because of dirty water and bad sanitation.

  • What about you and your family? Do you have enough water? Is it clean and safe all the time?
  • Do plants and animals have enough water around you? Is it clean and safe all the time?
  • Do you know about places where there is not enough water or the water quality is poor?
  • Do you have dirty rivers or lakes around your place? If so, why are they dirty?
πŸ’§ What is SDG 6?

  • SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goalsβ€”a list of 17 big ideas from countries around the world to make life better for people and the planet.
  • SDG 6 is all about making sure everyone has clean water to drink and good bathrooms to use. It also wants to keep rivers, lakes, and oceans healthy.
