How does a zoo owner in Korea answer these questions?
I don't see wild animals around my house because I live in a city. I don’t even miss them, because I can see a lot of wild animals at any time at my zoo. I like wild animals. They are amazing. As a zoo owner, I care about wildlife and we teach people about these beauties in the zoo. I'm not scared of animals, but I am careful around them, especially those that are dangerous. You need a lot of knowledge to work with animals. You have to love and respect them. You have to handle them carefully, otherwise they can be aggressive. If you don’t like them, they don’t like you. |
How does a farmer in Australia answer these questions?
On the farm we see wild animals all the time. Kangaroos, and other animals come up to the house looking for food or water. I don’t like wild animals on the farm. They can be a real bother, eating our garden vegetables. I am not scared of animals, but you learn to be careful around certain animals, especially if you know they are aggressive or carry diseases. Working on a farm, you get used to being around animals and wildlife, so you learn how to handle them safely. |
How does a grandmother in the USA answer these questions?
Sometimes, but not often, we see wild animals around our house. Back in the old times, it was a bit different. We used to see more wildlife, like deer and rabbits, but with new cities and new buildings popping up, their living areas are getting smaller. I've always liked wild animals. They remind me of the beauty of nature. When I was younger, I used to love watching birds from a distance, observing what they do. I'm scared of certain animals, especially when they are strong. Even a dog can be dangerous. A stray dog bit one of my friends, so I am careful even in the street now. You never know what is in their mind, if they are friendly or they think you're their next dinner. But all in all, I find animals amazing and enjoy being around them. |
How does a university student in Greece answer these questions?
Luckily we have only flies and butterflies around our house. I live in the city, but there are flowers and trees around the building. Sometimes I can hear birds singing, but I don’t see them. Honestly, I don’t care. I don’t like them. They are just a bother. A dinosaur would be different. I would be very much interested if you showed me one. But horses? Cows and foxes? Don’t make me laugh. I am fine without them. I want to see animals only on my plate. I am not scared of them. I don’t go near animals, because I hate all of them. If I don’t go near them, I don’t have to be afraid, right? |
