It was Friday. On Friday everybody is tired. I didn't want to go to school. I wanted to rest.

"I am ill", I told my mother.

"I feel your pain", she said. "Get dressed and go to school."

"I can't. I have a headache. My head hurts. I am too weak."

"Do you have a temperature?" she asked.

"I don't know".

She went to get a thermometer. I made some hot tea. She came back with the thermometer.

"Take your temperature", she said, and went to the kitchen.

I put the thermometer into the hot tea.

After five minutes, she came back and looked at the thermometer. It had a very high number.

"You are very ill. Get dressed', she said. "We are going to the hospital."

I sat in the hospital all day. It was not a good Friday.
