2.9.2 Mess in the kitchen
This morning I went into the kitchen. It was messy.

The door key was on a plate.

The fridge magnets were in the fridge.
 A dirty fork was in the lock.
Mom's shoes were on the table. A cup was in her shoe.
My shoes were on a chair. An ice cube was in my  shoe. Another ice cube was in my sister’s shoe.
A glass was in the soup. Another glass was on the floor.
The tap was on. There was water everywhere.
My sister came into the kitchen.

“Who made this mess?” I asked her.

“The dog did it”, she said.

“Liz, we don’t have a dog”, I said.

“Oh”, she said.
